Blog posts are a great way to get recognized within your community and share your voice. Here are the top 10 reasons you should love writing blog posts.

Anyone can make one:
For better or worse, anyone can write a blog post about anything they want. Everyone has a voice and the best voices will rise to the top.

The writer can show their personality:
In blog posts, the writer has more leeway to add in their voice and personality than other types of writing.

Blogs are a great form of mass communication:
You can help people, learn new things, entertain your audience—the possibilities are endless and amazing. Blogging opens up all of these to a very wide audience.

You can make money:

Get the right blog going and you can make a lot of money through advertising and sponsored posts.

It allows people to craft better thoughts:
Instead of reading haphazard, uneducated Facebook statuses, it’s much better to see people’s thought process in a well-written blog post.

You can establish a community:
Blogging allows you to connect with other individuals who share the same interests. Sharing ideas and opinions within your community helps establish yourself as a thought leader.

Good for SEO:
Keeping content on your site fresh and relevant, you can use your blog to boost the search engine ranking (SEO) of your site and your business.

It brings people back to your site:

If your blog is strong enough and updated regularly, people will come back looking for more and bring traffic back to your site as well.

It’s free:
It costs you a grand total of zero dollars to post to the blog, so if you have something to say, there’s nothing to stop you.

You can establish yourself as a thought leader:

A blog is a great place for your original thoughts, and it can be a wonderful way to show off your individuality. If people like your ideas, you can become a thought leader in your industry!

Hi Folks this is a very different from our normal post. We have been very lucky and managed to get some time away before this second lock down We had a wonderful break at the Yorkshire Coast .. our favourite place in the world. A neighbour we had never met or knew kindly offered to look after our cat Liquorice which we are so grateful for. Having walks on the beach and seeing the beautiful countryside and skies was a great boost for our wellbeing and soul. We met lots of lovely people whilst we were away many who are battling the impact of Covid we also saw people, families enjoying being together and enjoying the outdoors. Having the opportunity to reflect I wanted to share with you our journey so far..Reevive was conceived in Sept 2019, being aware of the amount of clothes going into landfills, the cheap labour that fast fashion demands we wanted to be involved in the slow fashion movement and encourage others to support this too. We love vintage and stylish clothes and so thought this was a great way to combine this with our core values. Part of our plan was and still is to arrange clothes swaps gatherings, sadly with the current restrictions this is not possible in the way we envisaged. Apart from taking a while to design the logo and creating the website we took a long time researching the best environmental resources from the hangers for our clothes to the packaging we send out to our customers. We even looked at self seeded labels that could be used to grow flowers but sadly we have not found any that work. Getting our head round social media was and is an ongoing challenge but hey we are always up for a challenge or two.. Then Covid hit and like many others this has been a major challenge like everybody all our lives have in essence ground to halt, families lost loved ones prematurely, we can no longer socialise with our families and friends, live music, theatre, cinema has been halted and in some cases closed for good. We know we are not alone in these difficult times and have found it hard at times to keep motivated. It’s hard to keep focusing on life goals when all you hear is negative news, people dying, business closing, poverty increasing, mental health problems and suicide increasing. On top of this the confusing messages about the virus are not easy to get a grip of. In these troubling times we all need to be kind to ourselves and others as much as we can. So we will definitely be going out for more walks weather permitting to take a look around at the beauty that nature offers, step off the social media platform and ring not text friends, find a new recipes to make ( anybody any ideas what to do with green tomatoes?) and just remind ourselves that we can and will overcome this not on our own but together. We started some upcycling projects in the first lock down and they will resume. There will be tips and advice on our website on things you might want to have a go at whilst your at home... so do please follow us on instagram or facebook for updates. We would love to hear your tips about what you are doing to survive and thrive in this world and how are you being kind to yourself and others? Stay Safe and Sane Team Reevive
